It was another fast stage today at the Simac Ladies Tour, with Lara Gillespie securing a solid 9th place in the sprint of Stage 4, held over 125.8 kilometers from start to finish in Alkmaar.
The stage was once again influenced by strong winds, making it a challenging day for the peloton. Sofia Bertizzolo and Karlijn Swinkels stayed attentive at the front throughout, working to keep the race under control and providing valuable support for Gillespie in the final sprint.
In the end, Lorena Wiebes continued her dominance, claiming her third consecutive victory and strengthening her lead in the general classification.
