Today, reigning European Gravel Champion Erica Magnaldi returned to the gravel roads she loves so much for a special occasion: the GT3 Lavaredo UCI Gravel World Series.
The race took place in the heart of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring a spectacular route around the iconic Tre Cime di Lavaredo.
Wearing her European Champion jersey and riding her special Colnago gravel bike, Magnaldi claimed an impressive second place, finishing behind race winner Karolina Migon from Poland.
The women’s race was highly competitive from start to finish, with a challenging and technical 133-kilometre course featuring more than 3,170 metres of elevation gain.
Coming straight from the demanding Giro d’Italia Women, Erica Magnaldi once again proved her strength and versatility in gravel, securing a prestigious result in one of the most spectacular settings of the international gravel calendar.
