Another podium finish for UAE Development Team came today thanks to Scotland’s Eilidh Shaw, who claimed the bronze medal in the Criterium British National Championships.
Racing on the streets of Aberystwyth, Shaw delivered a strong performance to finish third in the bunch sprint, behind winner Megan Barker (Rapha Cycling Club) and runner-up Carys Lloyd (Movistar Team).
The result is even more significant considering that the young Scottish rider only returned to competition this week at the National Championships after being sidelined by injury. Her bronze medal marks an encouraging comeback and confirms the talent and determination of one of UAE Development Team’s most promising young riders.
