Baloise Ladies Tour – Stage 2

Stage 2 of the Baloise Ladies Tour unfolded over 127.3 km on a lively circuit starting and finishing in Olsene, Belgium. With narrow roads, technical corners and plenty of wind, the peloton was kept on high alert from the very first kilometer.

Despite the efforts of solo attackers and small groups, the day ultimately came down to a sprint from the bunch.

Dutch rider Nienke Veenhoven (Team Visma | Lease a Bike) showed impressive speed and timing to power to victory in the final meters, claiming the win ahead of Barbara Guarischi (Team SD Worx – Protime), who secured second place, and Karolina Kumięga (KDM – Pack Cycling Team vzw), who rounded out the podium in third.

It was another dynamic day of racing at the Baloise Ladies Tour, with riders showing both grit and tactical awareness on the challenging Belgian roads. The general classification remains open, with more stages still to shape the outcome of the race.
