UAE Team ADQ delivered a strong collective performance at the Vuelta CV Femenina, highlighted by an excellent fourth place for Eleonora Gasparrini, who was among the protagonists in the decisive phases of a fast and animated race.
The victory was claimed by Liane Lippert (Movistar Team), who launched a surprise attack with three kilometres to go, opening a decisive gap and soloing to the win. Behind her, the reduced group of chasers contested the remaining podium places, with Gasparrini finishing just outside the top three after a well-timed and powerful sprint.
Throughout the race, UAE Team ADQ showed great cohesion and attacking intent, placing Eleonora Gasparrini and Maeva Squiban in the select group that formed in the final 40 kilometres alongside several of the strongest riders in the peloton. The team remained active and well positioned in a constantly evolving finale, confirming its competitive spirit and strong condition.
Unfortunately, the race was also marked by an incident involving Greta Marturano, who was caught in a crash and taken to hospital for further checks due to a potential concussion. Thankfully, early assessments suggest that serious consequences have been ruled out. The entire team wishes Greta a speedy recovery.
