The NXT Classic, held today in Eijsden (Netherlands) over a distance of 118 km, saw the young riders of our UAE Development Team in action.
In the bunch sprint that decided the race, Scotland’s Eilidh Shaw secured an other solid top 10, with eighth-place finish.
The race was won by Anna Vanderaerden (Fenix-Deceuninck Development Team), ahead of Femke Markus (Netherlands) in second and Amalie Dideriksen (Cofidis Women Team) in third place.
It was a strong collective performance from the entire team, with notable contributions from Dutch rider Fee Knaven and Britain’s Abigail Miller. Both stayed with Shaw in the front group until the finish, eventually placing 15th and 23rd respectively.
