Today in the second stage, starting in Serravalle Pistoiese and finishing in Quarrata, Francesca Pellegrini sprinted to fourth place, adding another strong result in what has been an excellent end of the season for her.
At the end of the day, Scotland’s Eilidh Shaw pulled on the green QOM jersey, while Germany’s Hannah Kunz claimed the blue Sprint jersey.
Tomorrow the race continues with the third stage, starting and finishing in Segromigno in Piano, covering 166.8 km.
