UAE Team ADQ delivered a solid performance today at the GP Lucien Van Impe in Belgium, where Francesca Pellegrini took 4th place and Sofia Bertizzolo finished 7th.
The race started and finished in Erpe-Mere over a fast and technical 139.3 km circuit. Pellegrini was active throughout the day, even joining a breakaway attempt, though it was eventually reeled back in.
As the pace increased towards the finale, positioning became crucial for the sprint. Both Pellegrini and Bertizzolo held their ground in the hectic fight for positions, showing strong teamwork and determination. In the end, they secured a positive double top-10 result for the team.
Victory on the day went to European Champion Lorena Wiebes (SD Worx – Protime), who confirmed her sprinting prowess once again.
