Eleonora Gasparrini: 4th Place in Plouay

UAE Team ADQ delivered a solid performance at the Classic Lorient Agglomération – CERATIZIT, held over 165.3 kilometers with start and finish in Plouay, France.

The race was animated from the very beginning, with Silvia Persico active in the early stages. The Italian rider joined a large and dangerous breakaway, allowing UAE Team ADQ to stay in control within the peloton.

Once the breakaway was reeled back in, the decisive moves came. Eleonora Gasparrini showed great race instinct, making it into a select trio that bridged across to the head of the race. In the final kilometers, the situation reshuffled again, and Elisa Longo Borghini was also present in the finale. In the last few hundred meters, she worked selflessly to support her teammate, launching Gasparrini’s sprint.

In the end, Gasparrini claimed an excellent 4th place, a strong result at the conclusion of a highly competitive race. The victory went to Mischa Bredewold (Team SD Worx – Protime), who secured her third consecutive win in Plouay.
