Erica Magnaldi and UAE Team ADQ Together Through 2026

UAE Team ADQ continues to consolidate its foundations by confirming another key rider in its line-up, securing the experience and reliability of Erica Magnaldi.

The 33-year-old Italian climber is one of the longest-serving riders in the team, having been part of the project since its inception in 2022. She has now signed a new contract that will keep her with the Emirati team until the end of the 2026 season – her fifth year with the team. A true sign of mutual trust and respect.

Magnaldi enjoyed a very positive 2025 season: she returned to victory on the road by winning the Grand Prix de Chambéry, while on her gravel debut she also took a win in the UCI Gravel World Series, then she became Gravel European champion in Avezzano. She was also one of the key teammates who supported Elisa Longo Borghini on her way to victory at the Giro d’Italia Women.

Reflecting on her year, Magnaldi said: “It was a season of ups and downs, but in the end, we achieved some great results. My personal victory in Chambéry and, above all, our team triumph at the Giro are memories that will stay with me forever.”

She added: “Riding on the wave of enthusiasm from that incredible victory, and thanks to the strong bond that developed with my teammates throughout the season, I really wanted to stay here for another year.”

“This year the team has definitely stepped up a gear,” continued the rider from Cuneo, Italy. “Not only with Elisa Longo Borghini, but also with many other strong riders. I’m very happy to put myself at their service and help them achieve the team’s goals. That will continue to be my role next season, while I also hope to find opportunities for some personal satisfaction too.”

Melissa Moncada, President of UAE Team ADQ, commented: “Erica Magnaldi has embraced our project since the very beginning and has always shown loyalty, respect, passion, and the ability to adapt to different situations. Today, we find an even more mature rider, an important support for our leaders. We are delighted to continue working with her in the coming season.”
