UAE Team ADQ is delighted to announce the promotion of Febe Jooris to the WorldTour team for the 2026 and 2027 seasons.
Born on October 4, 2004 in Deinze, Belgium, 21-year-old Jooris is a gifted time-trial specialist who has already made her mark on the international stage with a bronze medal in the Junior World Championships time trial and multiple national U23 ITT titles. Her versatility across mixed terrain also makes her a promising rider for the classics.
The 2025 season with the UAE Development Team served as a valuable period of growth.
“It was a year full of learning,” says Jooris. “Seeing how well the team works together made me realise this is the group I want to be part of in the years ahead.”
Memorable highlights included both her experience in classics races alongside the WorldTour team and the races with the Development Team, where she deepened her connection with teammates.
Stepping up to the WorldTour level is an important milestone: “I’m really grateful for this opportunity and I truly want to prove that I’m worth it.”
Looking forward to the new season, Jooris aims to support her team across all terrains, especially in the classics, and to continue improving her performance in time trials.
“I feel very happy and blessed to be surrounded by such an amazing group of riders and staff,” she adds.
Melissa Moncada, President of UAE Team ADQ, commented: “We are proud to see Febe taking this step into the WorldTour. We strongly believe in her potential and are excited to see her contributions in the coming seasons. Our focus is on nurturing young talent and providing a supportive environment where they can thrive. Febe has shown the determination and teamwork that will serve her well at the highest level.”
With this move, UAE Team ADQ once again highlights the strength of its development pathway designed to guide young riders to the pinnacle of professional cycling.
