Fifth place for Lara Gillespie in Stage 3 of the Simac Ladies Tour.
The Irish rider, together with her teammate Karlijn Swinkels, was among the protagonists of the 17-rider breakaway that dominated the day. Taking advantage of a split in the crosswinds, the group reached the finish line with a lead of 7 minutes and 45 seconds.
Stage 3 covered 160.1 km with start and finish in Zeewolde and also proved decisive for the general classification for much of the peloton. Stage victory and overall leadership once again went to Lorena Wiebes.
