It was a spectacular night for UAE Team ADQ on South American soil, as two of our riders claimed world titles at the ongoing UCI Track World Championships in Santiago de Chile.
Lara Gillespie delivered an outstanding performance to win the gold medal in the Elimination Race, confirming her incredible consistency and tactical intelligence on the track. The Irish rider managed every lap with confidence, staying perfectly positioned and launching her decisive move in the final sprints to secure the rainbow jersey. This victory crowns a fantastic season for Lara, who continues to shine in both track and road events.
Federica Venturelli, representing Italy, was part of the unstoppable Azzurre squad that dominated the Team Pursuit. Together with her teammates, she powered through every round with precision and strength, eventually taking home the gold medal after a thrilling final. The young Italian confirmed once again her enormous potential and talent, adding another prestigious title to her palmarès.
