After yesterday’s victory, Lara Gillespie confirmed once again her speed and consistency by taking second place today at La Choralis Fourmies Féminine in France.
The race covered 123.1 kilometers, starting and finishing in Fourmies. As expected, it all came down to a bunch sprint, where Dutch favorite Lorena Wiebes (Team SD Worx – Protime) powered to victory. Gillespie delivered another strong performance to secure second place, while Gladys Verhulst-Wild (AG Insurance – Soudal Team) completed the podium in third.
With back-to-back podiums, Gillespie continues to establish herself as a top-level sprinter, showcasing great form and consistency in fast finishes.
