British all-rounder Elynor Bäckstedt, shot to fame as one of the most promising juniors in women’s cycling, winning the junior version of Gent-Wevelgem and twice finishing on the podium at the UCI Road World Championships.
From 2025 season Bäckstedt is a rider of UAE Team ADQ and with this takes the next step in its development.
For Bäckstedt this move comes at the perfect time, and the rider is relishing the chance to continue her trajectory as an exemplary teammate and develop as a winner in her own right.
She closed the 2025 season with a notable 5th place at Tour of Guanxi in China.
