Dutch rider Karlijn Swinkels has established herself as a consistent and versatile presence in the peloton, particularly during the Spring Classics. Over recent seasons she has played a key role in several major races, regularly contributing both as a strong team rider and as a finisher. Her performances in the classics include multiple top-10 results, highlighted by an impressive 4th place at Gent-Wevelgem.

With a strong engine and a punchy finishing ability, Swinkels targets podium finishes in the biggest one-day races and aims to be competitive in punchy stages and prologues at major stage races, such as the Giro dโ€™Italia, La Vuelta, and the Tour de France Femmes.

She has also confirmed her winning potential with important victories, including GP de Wallonie in 2024 and the Trofeo Oro in Euro in Montignoso in 2025.

Known for her team spirit, Swinkels strongly believes in the collective nature of cycling. She values giving her full commitment to teammates when they are leading, while also embracing opportunities to challenge herself with the support of the team. This balance between personal ambition and teamwork is central to her approach to the sport.

Off the bike, Karlijn enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends, and discovering new places, reflecting her curious and well-rounded personality.
