A Challenging Day at Strade Bianche Donne

It was a tough day at Strade Bianche Donne, but once again, our riders showed incredible strength and determination, even in the face of adversity.

The 136 km race through the iconic white roads of Siena proved particularly demanding for Elisa Longo Borghini, who struggled with stomach issues that prevented her from competing at her best. Despite this setback, she fought on with resilience.

Silvia Persico, undeterred by two punctures along the route, displayed remarkable grit and crossed the finish line in 16th place. Meanwhile, young Polish champion Dominika Wlodarczyk, making her debut in this prestigious race, delivered a solid performance, finishing 23rd.

The unwavering teamwork of Alena Amialiusik, Brodie Chapman, and Eleonora Gasparrini was instrumental in supporting their teammates throughout the race, demonstrating the squad’s collective spirit.

While today’s victory went to Demi Vollering of FDJ-Suez, our focus is already on the upcoming races, ready to take on new challenges with the same determination.
