It was a tough race for our team at the Elmos Dwars door het Hageland, where only Lara Gillespie managed to stay with the main group. Despite suffering a crash in the early stages, Lara showed great resilience, fighting through the pain to finish in 12th place.
The 124.6 km race, starting in Aarschot and finishing in Diest, featured several gravel sections that made the course even more demanding. A small leading group broke away in the final part of the race, with the win going to European champion Lorena Wiebes (Team SD Worx – Protime).
A solid 12th place finish for Lara Gillespie, who continues to demonstrate her strength and determination.
