The 2024 edition of Itzulia Women came to an end today in San Sebastian, wrapping up three demanding stages where our riders went head-to-head with some of the top athletes in the WorldTour peloton.
The third and final stage covered 112.9 kilometers, starting and finishing in San Sebastian, and featured a challenging route including the iconic Jaizkibel climb — a key point in the race.
Demi Vollering (FDJ – Suez) claimed a solo victory on the stage and secured the overall classification as well. Unfortunately, our climber Erica Magnaldi was unable to start this morning due to illness.
Greta Marturano delivered a solid performance and finished just outside the top 20 in the general classification.
