Our Australian campaign comes to a close with a brilliant second place for Karlijn Swinkels at the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race, as the team once again showcased great teamwork and determination.
The riders delivered a strong performance over the 141.8 km Geelong circuit, working tirelessly in the bunch to chase down the breakaway of the day. As the race reached its decisive phase, Dominika Włodarczyk and Karlijn Swinkels remained in the select front group, ready to battle for the podium.
A crucial role was played by the Polish champion, who provided invaluable support to set up Swinkels for the sprint. The Dutch rider fought all the way to the line, securing a well-earned second place, just behind New Zealand’s Ally Wollaston (FDJ – Suez).
Now, the team shifts its focus to the next big challenge: our home race, the UAE Tour Women.
