The 2025 edition of La Vuelta Femenina came to an end in the rain at the summit of Alto de Cotobello. Congratulations to all our riders who completed this tough race on such a challenging day, showing great heart and determination.
The final stage, the seventh, started in La Robla and finished with a summit finish at Alto de Cotobello. It was a cold day, with rain falling for long stretches. Despite some early breakaway attempts, the strongest riders eventually emerged and battled for the stage win and the General Classification positions on the final, long, and demanding climb. The winner was Dutch rider Demi Vollering (FDJ – Suez).
Alena Ivanchenko, Erica Magnaldi, Maeva Squiban, and Lara Gillespie showed great courage in reaching the finish line, even though physical and mental conditions were far from ideal after a race that proved to be both unlucky and exhausting at times. Now, we look ahead to the next goals.
