UAE Team ADQ showed great determination at the Trofeo Alfredo Binda, covering 152 km from Luino to Cittiglio. Despite missing out on the final result, the team was active and aggressive throughout the race.
Early in the day, Eleonora Gasparrini joined the longest breakaway, riding alongside fourteen other athletes. Later, Dominika Wlodarczyk launched an attack in the final circuits, showing her strength and willingness to push forward.
When the race reached its decisive phase and the top contenders made their moves, Elisa Longo Borghini was right in the action, responding to an attack from Demi Vollering. However, the race ultimately came down to a reduced bunch sprint, with Elisa Balsamo taking the victory for the second consecutive year.
Despite the final result, UAE Team ADQ’s efforts did not go unnoticed. Dominika Wlodarczyk was awarded as the most combative rider, recognizing her aggressive racing. Additionally, Elisa Longo Borghini received the green jersey as the QOM leader in the Coppa Italia delle Regioni standings.

Unfortunately, Silvia Persico was involved in a crash and was taken to the hospital for medical checks.
