Three Riders in the Top 10 on Stage 2 of the Tour des Pyrénées

UAE Team ADQ delivered a strong performance in Stage 2 of the Tour Féminin International des Pyrénées, placing three riders in the top 10. Brodie Chapman finished 5th, Paula Blasi claimed 7th and the White Jersey as the Best Young Rider, while Dominika Wlodarczyk secured 10th place.

The demanding 134.6 km stage started in Trie-sur-Baïse and featured three third-category climbs before tackling the final ascent: a grueling first-category climb of over 20 kilometers to the summit of the Col du Soulor.

The team showed great cohesion and strength, setting the pace on the final climb with impressive teamwork from Karlijn Swinkels, Dominika Wlodarczyk, and Brodie Chapman, alongside the young and promising Paula Blasi.

In the final two kilometers, Chapman and Blasi remained in the select lead group. Chapman continued to push the pace before Blasi eventually lost contact with the leaders after her efforts. Despite this, the team earned three excellent top-10 finishes and the satisfaction of seeing Blasi step onto the podium in the white jersey.

Spanish Champion Usoa Ostolaza (Laboral Kutxa – Fundación Euskadi) won the stage and is the new leader of the GC. Tomorrow the last stage.
