The Vuelta a Extremadura came to a close today with a short but intense 69.4 km stage from Malpartida de Plasencia to Hervás, marked by cold temperatures and rain.
UAE Team ADQ wrapped up the race as a true protagonist. On the final stage, Francesca Pellegrini finished fifth, Greta Marturano took sixth, and Maeva Squiban secured eighth place.
Maeva Squiban delivered an outstanding performance, winning both the Queen of the Mountains classification and the Sprint classification. Meanwhile, Greta Marturano, who claimed a stage victory two days ago, secured a strong third place in the General Classification. Maeva Squiban finished sixth overall, while Alena Ivanchenko took ninth. To cap off an excellent race, UAE Team ADQ was also awarded the title of Best Team.
The final stage victory went to Imogen Wolff (Team Visma | Lease a Bike), while Ellen Van Dijk (Lidl – Trek) sealed the overall win in the GC.
