Abu Dhabi, UAE, July 27, 2026: Starting on August 1, 2026, and coinciding with the opening of the Tour de France Femmes, UAE Team ADQ will enter a new phase of its journey as UAE Team L’IMAD, reflecting the continued growth of one of the most respected and successful teams in women’s cycling.
The transition to UAE Team L’IMAD follows the consolidation of ADQ into L’IMAD and reflects the continued success and evolution of a sporting project established in the United Arab Emirates with the goal of advancing women’s cycling at the highest level.
Over the past four years, the team has achieved exceptional results on the world stage, earning international recognition and cementing its place among the elite of the UCI Women’s WorldTour. Highlights include victory at the Giro d’Italia Women, wins in some of the sport’s most prestigious Classics, stages at Tour de France Femmes, national and continental championship titles, and strong performances across the global racing calendar.

Throughout the season, the team’s colors and jersey will remain the same as those seen so far in races, but ahead of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes, which will begin in Switzerland on August 1, UAE Team L’IMAD will unveil a special-edition jersey inspired by the “Falcon of the Emirates”, representing vision, speed, precision, and leadership.
Alongside its competitive success, the team has played an important role in growing the sport in the United Arab Emirates through its development pathway, creating opportunities for homegrown talent to progress and compete at the highest levels of the sport.
