Valuable Experience for Our Young Riders at the GP Mazda Schelkens

It was another day of learning and growth for our young athletes as they took on the GP Mazda Schelkens in Belgium. The 134.1 km race, which started and finished in Borsbeek, featured a fast and dynamic course.

In the early part of the race, the UAE Team ADQ riders stayed active at the front, helping to control the pace. However, in the final stages, a large breakaway group managed to go clear, catching our riders off guard and out of position.

Despite their efforts to bridge the gap, our athletes were unable to rejoin the front group. In the sprint for the remaining places, Sofie van Rooijen showed her strength by winning the bunch sprint.

Another important step in the development path of our young team.
