Busy, rainy and cold day today at the Giro dell'Emilia Internazionale Donne Elite, 113.8 km from Vignola with finish on the San Luca climb in Bologna. 

Our riders put in a great effort and the best on the climb was Erica Magnaldi who finished 13th, Eleonora Gasparrini 19th. 


The race was won by a breakaway by Elisa Longo Borghini (Lidl-Trek).

 

Today Silvia Persico, wearing the jersey of the Italian National Team, took part in the Gravel World Championships Flanders - Forests of Brabant. Unlucky day due to a mechanical problem that forced her to stop.
