The magical moment of the UAE Development Team girls continues as they once again achieved a great result today. This time the winner was an excellent Sara Fiorin who after taking third place last Monday at GP Mazda Schelkens crossed the finish line first at the ZLM Omloop der Kempen in the Netherlands.

The good news at UAE Development Team doesn't end there. In fact, Ireland's national champion Lara Gillespie is also rejoicing, as she took second place passing Netherlands' Marjolein Van't Geloof.

This is the second victory for Sara Fiorin who had also won in Croatia earlier in the season when she won the Umag Trophy ladies always winning in the sprint.

This victory is very significant because it shows that the UAE Development Team athletes directed by Davide Gani and Aida Nuño Palacio know how to race with confidence (not easy at all) even when they have the label of 'favorite team' on the eve of the race. This is undoubtedly another step forward in the growth of the team whose mission is to give the right instructions and grow the mindset of the young riders.

“I am also very happy with the work of my teammates,” Sara Fiorin said, “they did a great job. We planned to win and we did, I have to thank all the UAE Development Team staff and I think this is also a nice presents for our sport director Davide Gani who has his birthday today.”
