Another fourth place for Karlijn Swinkels ended the sixth and final stage of the Lotto Thüringen Ladies Tour.

Another fourth place for Karlijn Swinkels ended the sixth and final stage of the Lotto Thüringen Ladies Tour, 105.4 km with start and finish in Schmalkalden, Germany. 

The Dutch rider always stayed in the thick of the race. She entered several breakaway attempts and was also in the leading group at the end. Finisseur shot and victory for Sandra Alonso (Ceratizit-WNT), while in the sprint Swinkels finished in fourth place after an excellent performance.  

At the end of the event she climbed onto the podium to receive the leader's jersey in the Points Classification.
