Another very tough day at the Tour de France Femmes today the 126.1km fifth stage from Onet-le-Château to Albi.
Another very tough day at the Tour de France Femmes today the 126.1km fifth stage from Onet-le-Château to Albi.
Solo effort by German Ricarda Bauernfeind (Canyon-SRAM Racing) who wins the stage. Our Silvia Persico and Erica Magnaldi closed in the top group at 32 seconds, completing another tough test for the whole team.
Olivia Baril was the protagonist in the breakaway that characterised the first part of the day, but did not manage to gain much.
Tomorrow the sixth stage will again smile on the fast wheels of the peloton.
