The Italian rider will wear the UAE Development Team jersey in the 2024 season.

Federica Venturelli is one of the brightest talents among female athletes born in 2005, with exceptional result in the junior category. During the last Track World Championships in Cali (Colombia), Federica won two gold medals (madison, individual pursuit) and one silver medal (team pursuit) and took the world record in the women's junior category in the individual pursuit with a time of 2:15.678.

The sign of Federica Venturelli is also important news for UAE Team ADQ.

The choice of Federica represents the will of UAE Team ADQ and UAE Development Team to build a competitive team in the long term through the inclusion of the world's best talents. Next season, in addition to competing with the UAE Development Team, Federica will also have the opportunity to gain more experience with the WorldTour UAE Team ADQ on certain occasions.

Federica Venturelli is not only a pistard, but she is a competitive athlete in all disciplines. At the Road World Championships in Glasgow, the Italian finished in fourth place and won a bronze medal at the ITT race. In 2023 season Federica also took a 4th place at the Cyclocross World Championships and won the Women’s Junior Road Italian Championships.

After analyzing the work of UAE Development Team in this 2023, which is specialized in the growth of young talents, Federica Venturelli had no doubts in choosing her new team to land in professional cycling.

"The choice for my near future could only be UAE Development Team," Federica said, "competing immediately for a World Tour team seemed too much and I think the best choice is to land in the professional world with UAE Development Team. Next year I will start university: with a less demanding race calendar I will be able to get used to real cycling gradually."

Venturelli adds: "Choosing to wear the UAE Development Team jersey was a natural choice. This year I have been very comfortable in Valcar Travel & Service thanks to the presence of Valentino Villa and his sports directors. Valentino is the team manager of UAE Development Team. For me he is an important reference figure. Now I am looking forward to getting to know my new teammates and new staff who I hope can help me in my growth."
