Tough day at the Giro d'Italia Women, great heat and the toughest stage ever which put all the riders to the test. 

120 km to go, from Lanciano and twice the ascent of the Passo Lanciano then the finish in Blockhaus. 

Despite a crash early in the day, Erica Magnaldi made it into the top 15 of the day with her 14th place and all the riders deserve congratulations for their commitment and effort. 

Winning the stage by a clear margin was Neve Bradbury (Canyon//SRAM Racing). Elisa Longo Borghini (Lidl-Trek) retains the pink jersey with just one second advantage over Lotte Kopecky (Team SD Worx - Protime).

Tomorrow the final stage of 117 km from Pescara to L'Aquila.
