In today’s fourth stage of the Simac Ladies Tour, a breakaway group successfully reached the finish line.

In today’s fourth stage of the Simac Ladies Tour, a breakaway group successfully reached the finish line after an exciting day of racing. Among the 14 riders in the breakaway were UAE Team ADQ’s Karlijn Swinkels and Sofia Bertizzolo. After 118.2 kilometers on the Ede route, Swinkels powered to a solid fifth place in the final sprint, moving up to 5th overall in the General Classification.

The decisive move came after around 50 kilometers when the breakaway formed. The group included riders from several teams: Karlijn Swinkels and Sofia Bertizzolo (UAE Team ADQ), Barbara Guarischi and Femke Markus (Team SD Worx - Protime), Julia Borgström, Ilse Pluimers, and Ally Wollaston (AG Insurance - Soudal Team), Christina Schweinberger (Fenix-Deceuninck), Teniel Campbell and Quinty Ton (Liv AlUla Jayco), Franziska Koch (Team dsm-firmenich PostNL), Eva Van Agt (Team Visma | Lease a Bike), Maria Giulia Confalonieri (Uno-X Mobility), and Victoire Berteau (Cofidis Women Team).

In the final sprint, Barbara Guarischi (Team SD Worx - Protime) took the victory.
