A sprint finish wrapped up Stage 5 of the Simac Ladies Tour, covering 140 km around Doetinchem. Supported by Sofia Bertizzolo, Ireland's Lara Gillespie powered to a strong fifth place, showcasing her determination and resilience.

The finale was also characterised by a crash involving several riders in the last kilometre, including Karlijn Swinkels. This left only Bertizzolo and Gillespie to fight for the final sprint. 

Dutchwoman Lorena Wiebes (Team SD Worx - Protime) won again. 

Germany's Franziska Koch (Team dsm-firmenich PostNL) remains in the yellow jersey of general classification leader.
