Valenciana: with Baril the first stage turns pink

The Setmana Ciclista-Volta Comunitat Valenciana Fèmines started today with a placing for Gasparrini and a classification jersey for Baril.

The Setmana Ciclista-Volta Comunitat Valenciana Fèmines (2.Pro) started today with the first stage from Valencia to Sagunt (km 119).

In the final sprint fifth place for Eleonora Gasparrini. The stage was won by Elisa Balsamo (Trek-Segafredo), who is also the first leader of the Spanish race. 

Canadian Olivia Baril finished second in the first intermediate sprint and won the second and at the end of the day wore the pink jersey as leader of the special Intermediate Sprint Classification. Thanks to time bonuses, she is also in the top position of the GC.
